Our First Lady

Evangelist Carolyn Reid is the First lady of Greater Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ, where she proudly effectively serves with her husband and pastor, Elder Mark K. Reid. Her love for God is evident in her humble nature and her ministry to the congregation at large. She is a very active force in Greater Mt. Carmel Church Ministries. She is truly a hard-working multifaceted First Lady; serving as president of the Women's Department (Women of Excellence), a dynamic Praise and Worship Leader. First Lady Reid is the lovely mother of 2 beautiful daughters Joy and Eboni and 1 handsome son Mark Jr. Carolyn is the fifth child of the late Brother Angelo and Sis. Zetta Feliciano and she has nine siblings. First Lady Reid is a graduate of Edgewood Regional High School and she is also a graduate of Lyons Institute in Laboratory Technology & in Hematology. Now retired, for 29 years she held the position of an Insurance Claims Auditor for CSAA Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group. In her district, she serves as the Chairperson

of the E. A. Reid Memorial District's Planning Committee. In the New Jersey First Jurisdiction, she holds the office of Executive Chairperson for N.J. First State Women’s Convention. But in the spiritual, she is one of God's prized possessions. She is a woman of valor, a woman who exemplifies courage in doing the work of the Lord. Evangelist Reid is a natural-born leader as she touches a heart before she asks for a hand. Although mild-mannered, when she does speak, she is a woman that commands respect by her gentle yet graceful disposition. First Lady Reid is an embodiment of unconditional love, devoted to the service of all humanity. So open is she, so appreciable and accessible that people have come to realize that inside lies inward beauty and a strong and powerful will to do ministry.
